Hi, I’m Abby and I’ve graduated from Carrington College in May of 2023. My education also includes a bachelor’s degree in Womens Studies with a minor in Communications. I enjoy incorporating myotherapy techniques within my massages in order to gain better access to problem areas without inflicting pain to the client. I also believe in building a session that adheres to the client’s comfort levels, while also bringing in therapeutic results by the end of the session. I’m always eager to learn more modalities and I am hoping to add specialties such as lymphatic drainage, reiki techniques, Thai massage, and more in the near future.

I have practiced massage since 2016 with previous experience in the medical field as a personal aid and certified nursing assistant. The massage style I provide is a customizable swedish with light to firm pressure, with deep effecting techniques in hopes to not raise the body's defenses. My use of hot and cold as needed in contrast therapy helps alleviate inflammation or invigorate circulation as needed. As well as setting the tone for a relaxing massage, I believe it is also important to set the tone for a massage that awakens the body. Using sports massage techniques of pinning and stretching and loosening up the muscles can aid body preparation. Many of the techniques I include in a massage are the result of ever persistent education and curiosity, so my techniques are ever growing and developing into what each client needs on the table.

I has been practicing massage since November of 2022, with a specialty in clinical massage and a particular focus on chronic pain management and elder care. As a massage practitioner, my goal is to reduce suffering, one client at a time, and to educate as many people as possible about what massage is capable of doing. My clinical approach to massage focuses on specific issues within the muscles, both looking at the site of pain and tension, and at the body as a whole to look for potential causes. My goal is to release knots and tension using trigger point theory, joint mobilizations, stretching, and attention to breath.

Hello, my name is Renee. I graduated from IntelliTec College with honors in 2022. I specialize in Swedish, Deep tissue, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, and reflexology. I also enjoy implementing hot stone treatments in my massage if a client would like the enhancement. My favorite modality to practice is myofascial release. Learning the difference and educating clients on the difference between deep tissue and deep pressure helps myself and the client better understand that I don't have to "hurt" them for them to get results. I'm brand new to the area. My husband and I just Moved here from Ohio withour 6-year-old daughter. My soul was called to New Mexico. We visited family here last winter and we couldn't deny that this is where we needed to be. I absolutely love what I do, and I seriously cannot imagine doing anything else! My craft is my passion and I believe strongly in the healing power of massage therapy. At 16 years old I had my 1st massage, and it changed my life forever.
